Jay Hughes, Reserve President

WSRLEA is actively seeking new members.

by Jay Hughes

The Washington State Reserve Law Enforcement Association has been providing leadership and training to reserve law enforcement officers throughout the state of Washington for over 30 years.  This is a non-profit Association dedicated to helping improve the quality of effectiveness and professionalism of reserve law enforcement officers in their community involvement.

These are some facts you may already know and I would like to emphasize their importance and urge you to participate in the many advantages that the WSRLEA has to offer those that belong to this organization.  Some of the advantages include:  Professional Development, which provides specific training needs to help improve skills and promote professionalism; Community Involvement, which allows Reserve Officers to take an active part in their community services; Legislative Affairs which provide the Reserve officers updates in rulings and laws that can directly affect them.  For more information on the advantages of the WSRLEA, email me at kahuna56@comcast.net or at my office: jhughes@spokanesheriff.org
