FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

After a lengthy process including open nominations, requests for proposals and responses, we recently narrowed the field of potential law firms to represent us from many to five.

After interviewing all of the five finalists, we further reduced the field to two law firms which seemed to best suit our needs.

Today, after one final interview with a leading contender law firm, the Executive Committee of the LEOFF I Coalition met, and after considerable discussion and debate, it was agreed that this one law firm clearly best met our needs.

Even though the Executive Committee has made its decision, there are still some issues regarding fees, strategy and timing that still need to be resolved, so at this time, we can only say that we have selected a very competent and well respected law firm. In the very near future, certainly within the next several days, we expect to announce our choice and at that time, we will make it available to all interested parties.
