Degree Scholarship Program for WSLEA
Members & Children of Law Enforcement
Officers Killed in the Line of Duty
As
a membership service, the Association sponsors
a scholarship program for WSLEA members
and/or their immediate family {husband/wife/child}
Five
Scholarships in the amount of $750.00 are
offered annually to students throughout
Washington State. Total amount of the scholarships
will not exceed a $750 award per student.
Scholarships
are based on gradepoint average, recommendation
from instructor and determination from College
Financial Aid Office for financial need.
For
consideration: Complete the application,
Submit application along with: Official
copy of transcript to date {can be secured
from Registrar}, recommendation from instructor,
financial need verified {bottom portion
of application}.
Scholarship
entries are due July 30th, 2008.
